Commissions Profiles Explained

Using Commissions Profiles at Salesperson or Customer level
Commissions profiles can be linked to a salesperson or a specific customer. This allows program business or unique customers to have separate commissions structures from the salesperson that manages those accounts.
Setting up the profile
This is the first step in choosing how a salesperson's commissions will be calculated for current and future payouts. Almost all Aturian clients choose to pay commissions when an invoice is paid, rather than when it is generated. ![]() |
Commissions are based on profit percentage. The first tier must start at 0%. It is recommended that the final tier have a very high percentage to account for orders with no or low costs, as well as other scenarios where the invoice may generate a very high GP%. ![]() |
Adding a Profile to a Customer
In many cases, store programs and online orders are set with their own commissions rates that differe from a salesperson's standard rate. Aturian allows individual customers to have their own commissions profiles. Of course, any salesperson's commission profile can be used here as well.
