▶️How To Manually Adjust/Add Sales Tax

Sales order tax adjustments can be completed per order/ customer invoice. If elected to do so, you can also create a manual journal entry. However, this is not the recommended approach as it subverts the subsidiary customer ledger as well as the customer order.

1. Click on Sales Tax

Within the customer invoice, click on "Sales Tax".

2. Select Tax Routine

Select the tax routine to apply to the customer invoice. Please note these routine need to be establish before they can be selected.

3. Click on Submit

Submit your selection, verify calculated amount and save the invoice.

4. Click on Create Manual Journal Entry

Alternatively, you can create a manual journal entry that subverts the customer by navigating to "Create Manual Journal Entry".

5. Click on Create New

Click on "Create New"

6. Select GL Accounts

Select GL accounts and click on Submit
